Twinkle bells

The cold weather continues in Melbourne! We started the class this week moving the body and singing songs to warm up. Then we brought out the handbells and the girls showed amazing concentration, playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star all the way through for the first time!

Today’s theme was “Caterpillar”, and we all made a Doremi Caterpillar that crawled slowly to the music, then transformed into a beautiful butterfly.

This week’s composer was Percy Grainger who was born in 1882 here in Brighton, Melbourne!
